Welcome to this new Kind Conversation with Emily Scott, a renowned chef in the UK. Emily has many accolades to her name, including 'Best Chef South West' by Food Magazine, Awarded the Michelin Bib Gourmand in 2017 and featured for four consecutive years in the Michelin Guide for St Tudy Inn. Emily also appeared on this year's Great British Menu, representing the South West.
I feel so honoured to have had Emily on Kind Conversations and for her to open up about her relationship with food. (Spoiler alert...It has a happy ending!!!) Emily talks us through her journey with Anorexia and discusses some difficult subjects with honesty and great vulnerability. I have so much respect for Emily and the inspiration that this conversation will be to so many people.
It's the most amazing story of how something that caused her so much emotional (and physical) distress can go on to become her purpose, passion and a way of making those around her so happy. Have a listen and discover how small choices can be the path to change.(For more information / support with eating disorders, check out... https://www.beateatingdisorders.org.uk/)
